Gwendolyn Knapp

I'm a storyteller from a long line of lovable Floridian loud mouths. Maybe that's where my knack for voice comes from — knowing how to make a statement that cuts through the noise.

My passion for the written word has carried me across the South and back, through the ever-changing landscapes of print and digital media, tech, and communications.

I'm also the author of the memoir After a While You Just Get Used To It: A Tale of Family Clutter. Learn more about my book →

Currently, you can catch me:

  • working on a dystopian novel
  • training for my fourth marathon
  • reading books and cowering before a growing stack of The New Yorker
  • writing songs on my phone
  • eating too many cookies
Rebekah Anne

My assistant Rebekah Anne aka " Reebus" or "Haunchito" serves as chief kitchen supervisor, cheese shred enthusiast, and highflying hair tie obsessor.

After a While You Just Get Used To It

My projects and partnerships are a success because:

I make complex topics approachable, readable, and engaging.

I'm comfortable with ambiguity — mind reading is practically a second nature.

I strengthen copy, beat deadlines, and surpass expectations with brand voice in mind.

I'm also fluent in analytics, content management systems, AP Style, and all the tools that help create and deliver the best copy — Microsoft Outlook, Google Suite, Miro, Atlassian, ClickUp, Slack, MailChimp, Grammarly, and more.
